Planet Auto Body

Planet Auto Body in Sarasota provided an exceptional experience from start to finish! Their customer service is superb, and the entire team is professional, honest, and reliable. The work was completed on time, and they kept the process smooth and stress-free. If you need a rental car, they take care of that, too, which is a huge convenience. I sincerely hope I won’t need auto body repairs again anytime soon, but if I do, I know exactly where to go! Chris, April, and the entire team are excellent. I highly recommend Planet Auto Body!

Chris was amazing. I understand why he had 4.9 stars. I am guessing the reason it is not 5 stars is you can't please everyone in today's day and age. This experience only got better after the original quote. He had to order a part that he thought may ne the problem before he took the front end off our VW Arteon. That part was about $600 and the total job was quoted at just under $1200. As it turned out, the part he thought we may need was not needed. The final bill came in at $489. My guess is most shops would charge for that part considering you cannot see the part unless you pull the entire front end off. Solid guy, solid shop.

This place is phenomenal. Thankfully I only had a pain scratch from someone backing into me. I went to 4 places for a quote and planet autobody was by far the cheapest and seemed the most sincere! The owner worked with me on reducing the price even further since it didn’t include an entire bumper repair, just a portion of it. The front desk was so responsive & easy to work with! They estimated 2 days and had it done in 1! It looks absolutely perfect, good as new. I’d recommend this place to anyone and will be back if any work is needed in the future! Thanks to the team for making an annoying situation smooth & simple.

I highly recommend Planet Autobody! Chris did a phenomenal job repairing my car, and the entire experience was outstanding from start to finish. The quality of the work exceeded my expectations, and my car looks amazing. What impressed me even more was the attention to detail, they cleaned my car inside and out before returning it. The staff was extremely nice, friendly, and professional throughout the entire process. Thank you, Chris and the Planet Autobody team, for your excellent service. I couldn’t be happier with the results! 😅

Chris is an incredible owner. I went to a few places for an estimate on some cosmetic damage and knew instantly that Chris would be the most trusted for the job, in addition to having the most reasonable estimate. Out of 5 places I went to, Chris was on the only one to give me an estimate while I was there, as opposed to through email when I left. He also explained exactly how he’d go about the job and was extremely reassuring that it would come out right, when nobody else at the other shops cared to explain anything to me. I left my car for 5 days and he fixed my front bumper and a pretty significant ding/dent on my door. I picked up my car today and it looks brand new. Extremely happy that I chose Chris for this, and will be using him again in the future.
